Traditionally, the kingship of Jesus Christ has been the center of emphasis on Palm Sunday. Despite the fact that the Christian churches in the west have painted the image of Jesus as an imperial king adorned with worldly power and glory, Jesus himself declared that his kingdom is not of this world. This Sunday, we reflect upon the meaning of Jesus’ Kingship, and what it means to accept him as the King.
