Easter is the most celebratory day for all Christians. The message is quite simple, “Jesus was risen!” As he had told his disciples, Jesus came back to life, overcoming death. However, it has not been simple in understanding and implementing what it means to believe that “Jesus was risen.” I reflect upon the death and resurrection of Jesus, and how a Swedenborgian understanding of Jesus’ message could be implemented in our spiritual cultivation.
