Scripture readings: Genesis 1:14-19, Jeremiah 31:35-37
We all know from scientific education that the light and warmth from the sun is the prerequisite to the appearance of the vegetation on earth. However, the creation story in Genesis describes that the sun, the moon and stars were created on the 4th despite the fact that the vegetation was created on the third day. I explore an allegorical explanation of the sun, the moon and stars based on the revelatory writings of Emanuel Swedenborg.
